Now the festive season is over we are excited to welcome visitors back to our Gardens. While our gardeners are busy getting ready for early spring, there are still many winter delights to enjoy.

The snow certainly kept our Estates and Gardening team busy with over 30-acres to oversee! Take a look at some beautiful images of the Gardens in the snow, taken from various locations around the estate.

There is still plenty to see across Capel Manor Gardens this season. Take a stroll through the Gardens and you will see bursts of colour from a variety of fruits, berries, winter flowers, plants, shrubs and trees.

Patrons, students and tutors gathered in the sunshine on Thursday 19 May at the College’s Enfield Campus to celebrate the opening of ‘The Garden of Exaggerated Beauty’.

Steven Davies, was crowned the winner of a garden design competition held for students at Capel Manor College with his creation, ‘The Garden of Exaggerated Beauty’.

To honour National Tree Week, we are celebrating the top five (of our many) trees located around Capel Manor Gardens that are must-sees during your visit.

As London’s only specialist environmental college, we were keen to participate and support the Enfield Climate Change Festival at our Enfield Campus on Saturday 25 September.

The Garden was originally designed by Lucy Huntingdon and exhibited at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 1996 where it won a Silver-Gilt Medal.
